Upgrades to your Master Version

As a general rule, we do not deploy disks for Master Version Upgrades.

They are usually performed by a web download.
The reason we do not normally release upgrades via disk is that as soon as we have produced the disk, the next day there is usually an upgrade and so the disk is out of date.

If requested you can receive a disk. There is an additional charge over and above the price for the Master Upgrade for postage and handling of $22 + gst.

Internet Master Version Upgrade process

1. When you purchase your Master Version Upgrade you will be given a link to a web page where you can download the upgrade file
2. Download the file and run it
3. If you have originally installed SoEasy to the default installation directory (usually C:\SOEASY), the installation routine is set to install to this directory.
4. If you have installed SoEasy to a different directory (Right click on the icon on your desktop and select "properties" to see the "Location" of the installation) then make sure that when prompted by the installation routine, you change the installation directory to this location.

Network Disk Installation

1. If you are upgrading your network version of SoEasy via disk, you must repeat the above process for each workstation.

What if I have to transfer SoEasy to another PC?

What if my SoEasy installation becomes corrupted?

If such an event were to occur you should contact our support desk as they will know the best method of recovery. The disk is no required as there are downloadable versions of the program from our web which you install to a new PC and then recover your backed up data. (You should still contact support in the first instance as this is a critical issue that if handled incorrectly may cause you problems
